DADE CITY — Sarasota Boxing Club fighters took two out of three matches Saturday at a USA Boxing show in Dade City.

Tim Jenkins, 22, a 143-pounder, won a unanimous decision over 140-pound Adam Hilarie of Winter Haven. Jenkins, 22, proved to be too fast for his opponent and improved to 9-0.

Craig “True” Storey, a 132-pounder, won a second-round technical knockout against Wandy Noel, 22, of Winter Haven, who fought at 129. Storey, 21, who is now 3-0, dropped Noel with straight left hand.

Mike “Tough Cookie” Campbell, 176 pounds, dropped a split decision to Rickie Corona, 175 pounds, in a bout that could have went either way. Campbell is now 2-1.

The Sarasota Boxing Club’s record is now 359-117, the top amateur boxing club record in the state of Florida.
