Bradenton woman killed in motorcycle crash

HAINES CITY — A Bradenton woman lost control of her 1994 pink Harley-Davidson motorcycle and lost her life in a Haines City crash around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

Georgene Rabren of Bradenton, 52, reportedly ran off the curving southbound off-ramp from U.S. 27 to U.S. 192 in Haines City. She fell off the motorcycle trying to get back on the road and it landed on her, according to the sheriff’s office.

She was taken to Heart of Florida Hospital where she died, officials said. She was wearing a helmet.
