Inaugural Bradenton Arts Movieville Film Festival: various locations, Bradenton
The Bradenton Area Film Commission will roll out the red carpet for the Inaugural Bradenton Arts Movieville Film Festival, a celebration of film and the arts, through Sunday. The event features an array of international and national independent films and will also showcase the work of local producers and incorporate art and music to create a sensational arts experience in the downtown Bradenton area. Movieville will present screenings of award winning films such as "Mother of George," "The Enemy" and "Paloma." Film screenings are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. May 17-18. All-day Access Pass: $15.
