Darwin Brewery Co. grand opening coincides with Bradenton Beer Festival

BRADENTON — Darwin Brewing Co., 803 17th Ave. W., announced Wednesday it will hold its grand opening from noon to 10 p.m. Saturday, May 24.

The event is free and open to the public and includes live music and food.

Darwin Brewing features eight brews on tap inspired by Peruvian flavors and locally sourced ingredients, plus four guest taps.

The 15-barrel production brewery also includes a tasting room, beer garden and performance space for local live musicians. Live music from Doug Deming and the Jewel Tones, last year’s winner of the Blues Blast Sean Costello Rising Star Award, from noon to 3 p.m. will be followed by Nuna from 7 to 10 p.m. as part of the Bradenton Beer Festival at McKechnie Field from noon to 7 p.m.

Tasting room hours will be 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, noon to 10 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 8 p.m. Sunday starting May 22 with brewery tours available noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays and live music from 2 to 5 p.m. Sundays.
