Weather alert: Storms possible Monday afternoon in Bradenton

MANATEE -- Isolated thunderstorms are possible in Bradenton on Monday afternoon and into the evening, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters say there is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m.; the chance drops to 10 percent before 8 p.m.

Otherwise, skies will be mostly sunny, with a high near 89 and easterly winds of 8 to 13 mph.

Monday night, skies will be partly cloudy, with a low around 72, according to the Weather Service.
