Gun reported stolen from Bradenton car dealership

BRADENTON — A handgun was reported stolen from a car left at a Bradenton dealership for mechanical services.

Bradenton Police Department officers responded to Firkins Car Dealership, 2700 First St. W., in reference to the theft at 10:50 a.m. Thursday.

The owner of the vehicle reported he forgot to remove a handgun from the vehicle Tuesday and it was gone when he picked the vehicle up two days later, BPD reported.
