Manasota SCORE workshops: Manasota SCORE offers the following workshops:

• "Use web sites to boost sales," 5:30-8:30 p.m. today at Argosy University, 5250 17th St., Sarasota. The workshop covers the benefits of a web presence, developing an internet strategy, key elements of web site design, and do-it-yourself vs. hiring a professional.

• Simple Steps for Starting your Business "Marketing Plan," 9 a.m.-noon Saturday at ComCenter, 9040 Town Center Pkwy., Lakewood Ranch.
