Ex-Boys-Girls Clubs chief had right idea, poor words

May 4, 2014

I was very happy to see the letter from Allen Butler in the April 26 Herald in support of Marc Dosogne, former head of Boys and Girls Club of Manatee County.

The man did make some unfortunate choices of words. But some of the things he mentioned were right on. When someone is applying for a job, they should be cleaned up and properly dressed.

After all, the people who work at the club are supposed to be examples to the kids. How they come to apply is a very important aspect of that whole procedure.

Anyway, I just feel like after all the years he's put in, this was an awful way to have it end.
