— Authorities are looking for a driver who collided with another car, forcing it to crash into a building, and fleeing the scene.

The unidentified driver was headed southbound on 14th Street West at 27th Avenue West around 9:30 p.m. Friday when he or she attempted to change lanes, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.

The driver failed to yield to the right of way of a 1997 Ford Ranger in the inside lane, striking its right side, the report states.

The Ranger was forced off the roadway and into a building at 2704 14th Street West. Its driver, a 40-year-old Bradenton man, was uninjured, according to the report.

The unidentified vehicle then left the scene. It is described only as a black car. Part of its front bumper, which was gray, was left at the scene.
