Bradenton man held at gunpoint for several hours

MANATEE -- A man told deputies he was held at gunpoint at his home for several hours by three people to whom he owed money, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies received the report about 5:30 p.m. Thursday, and responded to the 1100 block of 60th Avenue East.

The man said he was able to escape his home and call for help. When deputies arrived, the suspects were gone, according to the report.
