Brooklyn investor Robert Wolf buys 234-unit complex

BRADENTON -- A Brooklyn, N.Y., investor has picked up a Bradenton apartment complex near Cortez Road for $8.8 million.

Belmont Park Apartments Bradenton LLC, registered to Robert Wolf of Brooklyn purchased the Belmont Park Apartments, 4300 18th St. W, for $8,815,429, according to property records. The seller, Belmont Park Apartments Inc. and Sainer Irrevocable Trust, was registered to Joel Sainer of Bradenton, according to business filings.

The complex, 4300 18th St. W., was first built in 1971 with buildings added over the years for a total of 234 units, with a pool and laundry facility.

The property was valued at $6.3 million, according to the Manatee County Property Appraiser.

Wolf's Brooklyn address traces to the Read Property Group, which had proposed to build a 1,000-unit apartment complex in Brooklyn's Bushwick neighborhood at a former Rheingold Brewery site.
