Sarasota police look for burglar caught on camera

Detectives are searching for a woman who was caught on camera entering a Sarasota home, according to Sarasota police.

The break-ins happened at a residence in the 100 block of South Boulevard, according to a news release.

"The woman is unknown to police or the homeowner," the release states.

"The homeowner is currently out of town but alerted the Sarasota Police Department after logging into his home security system and noticing the woman inside the home on at least two different occasions. At one point during the video, the woman is seen waving towards the camera," the release states.
