Man reports being hit on head, having wallet stolen on Bradenton street

— A man told deputies he was hit on the head while walking down the street early Saturday morning and had his wallet stolen, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

The victim was walking on 57th Avenue from 15th Street East around 3:34 a.m. when he was hit on the back of the head by two men, the sheriff's office reported. They took his wallet, which contained $160, according to the report.

The victim had no description of the suspects and did not say which way they went.
