FHP investigates 2 injury crashes in Manatee

MANATEE -- Florida Highway Patrol troopers are investigating two injury crashes Friday afternoon in Manatee County.

The first crash, which was reported at 1:48 p.m., happened on State Road 64 at South Duette Road in Myakka City, according to the FHP website. At least one person was hurt, but there were no reports of road block.

The second crash, which was reported at 2:03 p.m., happened on 35th Avenue West at 26th Street West in Bradenton.

At least one person was hurt, and 35th Avenue West was blocked, FHP said.

Other details about the crashes were not immediately available.
