LAKELAND -- Police said a former Polk County teacher has now been accused of conducting a sexual relationship with a third student.

Jennifer Fichter, 29, is already facing several counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor after two students told investigators they had sexual relationships with her.

Investigators said Fichter was teaching at Lakeland's Central Florida Aerospace Academy when she allegedly had sex with a 17-year-old student.

On Wednesday, a second student told investigators that he had a sexual relationship with Fichter during the 2011-12 school year, when she was 26 and the student was 17.

Officials have not yet released details about the third accuser.

Investigators said they found one of the students by conducting interviews with students at the school. That student did not come forward. Investigators had to go to him.

On Tuesday, the Polk County School Board voted unanimously to terminate Fichter's employment at the aerospace academy.

Fichter has also been investigated regarding allegations of inappropriate texting while teaching at Robinsonwood Middle School in Orlando in Orange County.

Fichter remains in the Polk County Jail. She is set to appear in front of a judge THursday.

She also faces three counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor in Hillsborough County. These counts stem from the relationship she allegedly had with the first student.

No charges have been filed regarding the allegations concerning the third student, as that part of the investigation is still going on.
