Southbound lanes of Interstate 75 in Sarasota reopened after crash

SARASOTA -- All southbound lanes of Interstate 75 in south Sarasota have been reopened after a crash Tuesday morning, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

At least one person was injured in the crash, FHP said.

The crash was reported at 7:57 a.m., according to the FHP website. By 9:30 a.m., the right and center lanes were reopened to traffic.

Separately, FHP is investigating an injury crash on northbound I-75 south of the University Parkway interchange. There were no road blocks, FHP said.

That crash was reported at 8:12 a.m.
