Kansas City, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - The Kansas City Chiefs announced Monday they re-signed wide receiver Kyle Williams.

Williams spent his first three-plus seasons with the San Francisco 49ers before being placed on waivers in November of last season.

The Chiefs scooped up the speedy wideout the following day, but lost him for the season in November when he was placed on injured reserve after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.

The 25-year-old Arizona State product has caught 47 passes for 574 yards and four touchdowns in 39 games, including nine starts, over four NFL seasons.
