Palmetto Historical Park & Manatee County Agricultural Museum to close temporarily

PALMETTO -- The Palmetto Historical Park and the Manatee County Agricultural Museum are set to close temporarily next month for renovation and exhibit updating, according to a news release from the museum's supervisor, Diane Ingram.

The closures are set to begin May 19 and will run through June 16. The sites, located at 515 10th Ave. West in Palmetto, are scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, June 17.

When they reopen, both the Palmetto Historical Park and the Manatee County Agricultural Museum will resume their normal operation hours, which are Tuesday through Friday and the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
