MANATEE -- Manatee County commissioners Tuesday boarded a bus for a fact-finding tour of Manatee's agricultural businesses.

Among the businesses commissioners will be touring are Schroeder-Manatee Ranch, Enza Zaden Research Farm, and Jones Potato Farm.

They will also be seeing cattle ranches, including Strickland Cattle & Exports and Big Red Cattle.

The total value of the county's agricultural economic impact is $646 million, according to a county flier.
