Weather alert: Showers, storms likely Tuesday in Bradenton

MANATEE -- Showers and thunderstorms are likely Tuesday in Bradenton, according to the National Weather Service.

Depending on the time of day, there's a 80 percent chance of showers or thunderstorms hitting the area, accompanied by wind gusts of up to 31 mph, according to the forecast.

The expected high temperature is 81.

Tuesday night, the chance of rain drops to 30 percent. Skies will remain mostly cloudy, with a low of about 57.

Sunny skies are expected to return Wednesday, with a forecast high of 77.
