April 13, 2014

MANATEE -- Two of three suspects were arrested within minutes Sunday after an armed home invasion in Bradenton, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

The attack happened about 4:12 a.m. in the 2800 block of 50th Avenue West in Bradenton.

Nine victims, including two men and seven women, were hanging out on the lanai when the armed suspects ordered them into the apartment, forced their way in and took several items from the victims, according to the sheriff's office.

The suspects then fled in a vehicle.

Deputies reportedly spotted the suspect vehicle several minutes later and two suspects -- Wilfred Jeanpaul, 28, and Christian Bombardier, 20 -- were arrested and charged with armed home invasion.

They were being held without bond at the Manatee County jail.

A third suspect reportedly remains at large although deputies did not report how he escaped the traffic stop.
