Habs ink G Tokarski to extension

Montreal, QC (SportsNetwork.com) - The Montreal Canadiens have signed goaltender Dustin Tokarski to a two-year contract extension through the 2015-16 season.

Tokarski has spent most of this season with Hamilton of the American Hockey League and has a record of 20-15-3 with a 2.36 goals-against average and one shutout. He appeared in three games for the Canadiens this season and earned a pair of wins with a 1.84 GAA.

The Canadiens acquired the 24-year-old native of Saskatchewan from Tampa Bay in a February 2013 trade.
