Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Ryan Braun embraced the boos from the Philadelphia fans, going 6-for-12 with three homers, 10 RBI and five runs scored during the Milwaukee Brewers' three-game sweep of the Phillies.
Braun went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored in the Brewers' 6-2 victory over the Phillies on Thursday.
The 30-year-old Braun was booed heavily in each of his at-bats throughout the series. He used that as motivation to continue his strong play at Citizens Bank Park, where he has 10 homers and 24 RBI in 22 career games.
Khris Davis went 2-for-4 with two RBI for Milwaukee, which went a perfect 6-0 during its road trip. Carlos Gomez, Aramis Ramirez and Jean Segura each knocked in a run.
Milwaukee starter Marco Estrada (1-0) allowed two runs on five hits while striking out six over six innings.
Marlon Byrd hit a solo homer and knocked in two runs for the Phillies, who have lost four in a row. Cliff Lee (2-1) got the start and gave up three runs on eight hits while striking out eight over six full frames.
