Manatee program

MANATEE -- Applications for the 2014-2015 Leadership Manatee program are available.The program is designed to educate business and community leaders to all aspects of Manatee County and offer in-depth knowledge of the area's challenges and opportunities. Leadership Manatee is a program of the Manatee Chamber Foundation in partnership with the Kiwanis Club of Bradenton. Applications are online at manateechamber.com/leadershipform.pdf and must be submitted by May 23.

Chamber to hold power networking lunch in LWR

LAKEWOOD RANCH -- The Manatee Chamber of Commerce will host a power networking lunch for members from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 16 at the chamber's Lakewood Ranch office at the McClure Center, 4215 Concept Court. The lunch will be catered by Jersey Mike's Subs. Attendees will have a chance to give a brief commercial on their business. Cost is $12 for members, $17 for non-members. Business coach Bill Walsh scheduled at Ritz-Carlton

SARASOTA -- The Ritz-Carlton will host Bill Walsh, founder and CEO of Powerteam International, for a presentation on "Success by Design" on April 15. Breakfast to feature IMG performance team leader

BRADENTON -- The Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance will hold its Breakfast of Champions from 7:30 to 9 a.m. April 16 at the Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club, 7650 Legacy Blvd. Justin Su'a, head of the mental conditioning team at IMG Academy, will be speaking about "How to Develop The High Performance Mindset." He has conducted seminars around the world teaching audiences mental skills and performance enhancement strategies.
