At least 1 hurt in crash in Palmetto

MANATEE -- At least one person was hurt in a crash Monday afternoon near Palmetto, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash, which was reported at 2:53 p.m., happened on 33rd Street West at U.S. 41, according to the FHP.

There were no reports of roadblock, but other details were not immediately available.

Also, FHP was investigating a hit-and-run crash in Bradenton.

The crash, which was reported at 2:52 p.m., happened on 30th Avenue West at First Street, according to the FHP website.

There were no reports of injuries or roadblock.
