How about the new security cameras across downtown Bradenton's Riverwalk? On the first night that the 20-camera system was operational, two "knuckleheads" were caught breaking into vehicles by the Twin Dolphin Marina.

That's Bradenton Police Chief Michael Radzilowski's description of the culprits -- and a good one.

"We very rarely have a crime issue downtown," he stated this week.

But those cameras will now create even greater security and deterrence, should knuckleheads realize their presence.
