Sheriff's deputy, other driver injured in crash in Bradenton

MANATEE -- A Manatee sheriff's deputy and another motorist were injured in a crash Thursday afternoon in Bradenton, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

About 4:30 p.m., two deputies were on patrol when they were involved in a crash at 5600 14th St. W., according to the news release. One of the deputies and the driver of the other car suffered minor injuries.

Both vehicles were damaged and had to be towed from the scene, according to the report.

Other details about the crash were not available.
