Injuries reported in State Road 70 crashes in Myakka City

MANATEE -- At least one person was injured in a traffic crash that temporarily blocked State Road 70 in Myakka City on Thursday morning, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash, which was reported at 7:52 a.m., happened at the intersection with Verna Road, according to the FHP website.

As of 9:30 a.m., the roadway was clear.

FHP also worked a separate injury crash on State Road 70 at the intersection with Ogleby Creek Road, about 3.3 miles west of Verna Road. That crash was reported at 8:10 a.m., and there was no road block reported, according to FHP.

Additional details on both crashes were not immediately available.
