Weather alert: Patchy fog to give way to a sunny Thursday in Bradenton

MANATEE -- Patchy fog is possible as you head to work and school Thursday morning in the Bradenton area, according to the National Weather Service.

Once the fog burns off by about 9 a.m., expect another sun-drenched day in Bradenton and the Tampa Bay region.

Forecasters are calling for mostly sunny skies, with a high near 82 and southerly winds of 5 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph.

Thursday night, expect mostly cloudy skies with a low around 63. Patchy fog could return after 4 a.m., according to the Weather Service
