Bradenton police investigate gunshots, fight

BRADENTON — Responding to a report of a fight in progress late Saturday night, Bradenton Police Department officers heard four gunshots at 11:31 p.m. in the 1800 block of 11th Street West, according to a police report.

Arriving officers reportedly saw numerous vehicles fleeing the area. One suspect vehicle was stopped but no gun was found.

No evidence of a shooting was found at the scene.

Investigation resulted in conflicting statements, according to the report.

One person was taken to Manatee Memorial Hospital reportedly for chest pains not related to the fight.

The investigation continues.
