Suspect with multiple warrants found hiding in shower by Bradenton police

— A suspect with multiple felony warrants for his arrest was caught hiding inside a shower Friday, according to Bradenton police.

Police received information that Willie D. Brown, who had multiple warrants out of Manatee and Sarasota counties, was at a residence in the 2100 block of 12th Street West around 2:46 p.m., according to a police report.

When police arrived, Brown retreated in the house and attempted to conceal himself inside the shower, the report states.

Brown was taken into custody without further incident and taken to Manatee County jail, where he was being held without bail.
