Eden Prairie, MN (SportsNetwork.com) - The Minnesota Vikings have signed former New York Jets guard Vladimir Ducasse, the team announced Thursday.

Terms of the contract were not disclosed, though the Minneapolis Star-Tribune previously reported the deal to be for one year.

A second-round pick of the Jets in the 2010 draft, Ducasse appeared in 50 games and started five over four seasons in New York. The Massachusetts product made four starts at left guard this past season.

Ducasse is expected to compete with returning starting guards Charlie Johnson and Brandon Fusco during training camp.
