Man yells obscenities, shoots at group walking home from Bradenton Circle K

BRADENTON -- A man shouted profanities and fired a gun at a group of friends walking home late Tuesday from a Bradenton Circle K, investigators reported.

Five people were walking home at 11:30 p.m. from the Circle K at 30th Avenue & 9th Street East in East Bradenton, according to a Manatee sheriff's report. A man in a small silver four-door vehicle stopped in the roadway and yelled at one of them.

The person reportedly yelled back profanities, and the vehicle left. As the group continued walking, the vehicle returned and stopped again in the 3200 block of 9th Street East. The suspect yelled again, then fired one round at the victims, according to the report. No one was injured.

None of the victims could identify the suspect, and no other vehicle information was obtained.
