12 clerks charged with underage alcohol sales in Manatee

— Clerks at 12 convenience stores and gas stations were charged with selling alcohol to people younger than 21 as part of a Manatee County Sheriff's Office operation Saturday.

The sheriff's tactical units had underage informants check 68 establishments, according to a media release.

The following employees at these establishments were charged and issued a notice to appear:

Corrine Burden, Raceway, 6285 U.S. 301 N.

Faridullah Patwary, Citgo/Federal Discount, 1240 8th Ave. W.

Sanjivkumar Dalsani, One Stop, 843 8th Ave. W.

Elizabeth Skees, 7-Eleven, 4905 U.S. 41 N.

Kimberly Wilsie, BP, 6351 U.S. 19 N.

Sheryl McGlocklin, 7-Eleven, 4427 S.R. 70

Matthew Keel, BP, 7305 S.R. 70

Justin Bartush, 7-Eleven, 5914 S.R. 70

Zaki Tirhi, Whitfield Grocery, 1232 Whitfield Ave.

Floyd Roebuck, Sunoco, 4630 Manatee Ave.

Shahnaz Pervin, Capital Discount, 5235 26th St. W.

Charles Pagano, Shell, 836 301 Blvd. E.
