Bradenton may see showers, thunderstorms Monday

March 24, 2014

BRADENTON -- Headed to McKechnie Field today? Better watch the skies before you get in line for the ball game.

The national weather service is calling for a 60 percent chance of rain today with chances rising to 90 percent in the evening. Thunderstorms are possible after 2 p.m.

So while baseball may be on the afternoon's agenda, it's best to have an umbrella along as an accessory.

Keep that umbrella handy all week because it looks like the week could be a washout according to the weather service which predicts a 50 percent chance of showers through Friday.
