BRADENTON -- The East Manatee Republican Club will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, April 10, at the Peridia Golf and Country Club, 4950 Peridia Blvd., Bradenton.

Lifelong Learning Academy presents futurist Houle
MANATEE -- David Houle, award-winning futurist and strategist who writes the blog "Evolution Shift," will discuss trends, global topics and his recent book, "Entering the Shift Age," at 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, in Selby Auditorium at the University of South Florida, Sarasota-Manatee, 8350 N.
