Former Bradenton resident a suspect in Sarasota stabbing

MANATEE — A woman told Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office deputies she was stabbed in the leg at 4:06 a.m. Sunday by a woman she knew as “Tasha” who once lived in Bradenton.

Deputies later identified a suspect as Natasha Davis, 28, last known address the 700 block of 33rd Avenue Drive East, Bradenton, according to a Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office report.

The stabbing occurred in the 3100 block of Leonard Reid Avenue, Sarasota, according to the report.

The victim was treated and released from Sarasota Memorial Hospital.

Davis is considered armed and dangerous, according to the report.
