Manatee suspects snatch gold chains worth $3,450

MANATEE — The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office reported a robbery by sudden snatching occurred at 3:05 p.m. Thursday at Littman’s Jewelers at 303 U.S. 301 Blvd.

Deputies report two suspects entered Littman's Jewelers after visiting two other jewelry stores in the mall. One suspect reportedly asked to see some jewelry and the manager removed two gold chains with a total value of $3,450.

While the manager held the jewelry for the suspects to view they each grabbed one necklace and fled to an awaiting black -fourdoor. The suspects were last seen driving northbound on First Street East.

Video was obtained from several stores within the mall.
