Voters foolish to elect 'kings' who dole out favors

March 20, 2014

I have to agree wholeheartedly with the former premier of the Czech Republic, Vaclav Klaus:

"Obviously we have a lot of work to do to repair the damage they have done. The damage to America is not Barack Obama, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency.

"It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgemnt to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man as their president.

"The problem is much deeper and far more serious then Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of the fools that made him their prince."

It is unfortunate, but fathers and mothers have raised a generation of fools that want to be kept and taken care of rather than become adults and make it on their own.

I like to use my brother as an example of a young man starting out as a night burger-maker for Burger King, making minimum wage.

He let it be known that by working hard, showing up for work on time and never missing a shift, he was wanting to move up and be more than just a burger flipper.

He moved in to management, became a manager and then became the district manager.

I am proud of him for doing that and never seeking a handout from anyone. He had little to no education, but he did have a good work ethic and worked hard.

Once we get rid of the kings and princes like the Bushes, Clintons and Obamas, then and only then can we begin to repair our once great nation.
