Vikings re-sign Evans, Johnson

Eden Prairie, MN (SportsNetwork.com) - The Minnesota Vikings re-signed defensive tackle Fred Evans and guard Charlie Johnson on Wednesday.

Evans, 30, has played in 94 games with the Vikings since 2007 and he collected 21 tackles while starting three of 14 contests last season.

The 29-year-old Johnson has started all 47 games in which he has played with Minnesota over the past three seasons. He was part of an offensive line that helped the club's rushing game lead the NFL with 23 rushing touchdowns last season.
