Sarasota police looking for credit card thief

SARASOTA -- Sarasota police are looking for a woman detectives say was caught on camera using stolen credit cards to buy gift cards.

On March 2, between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m., the woman used two stolen credit cards to buy gift cards from Sweetbay, 1821 S. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota; Walgreens, 1921 Waldemere St., Sarasota; and Sonny's BBQ, 3926 S. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, according to a news release.

"In the surveillance photos, the woman is wearing a pink shirt, sunglasses, shorts and flip-flops," the release states.
