Recap: Kansas City vs. Texas

Surprise, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Yordano Ventura tossed six scoreless innings, allowing just four hits and no walks with six strikeouts as the Kansas City Royals downed the Texas Rangers, 6-0, in Cactus League play.

Mike Moustakas went 3-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI, while Lorenzo Cain and Norichika Aoki each had two hits and drove in a run for Kansas City.

Rangers starter Matt Harrison only last 1 2/3 innings having allowed three runs -- two earned -- on three hits and a walk.

Texas recorded just six hits -- all singles.
