The Manatee Chamber of Commerce has promoted Neil Spirtas to Senior Vice President and Jacki Dezelski to Executive Vice President. Spirtas, who has been with the Manatee Chamber of Commerce 29 years, oversees small business, tourism development and governmental affairs. A native of Belleville, Illinois, he received his M.S. from the University of Missouri and Institute for Organizational Management training from Stanford University with the American Chamber of Commerce Executives.

Dezelski, who has been with the Manatee Chamber of Commerce 18 years, oversees education, workforce development, healthcare, leadership development, communications and young professionals. Dezelski earned her B.F.A. and M.B.A. degrees from the University of Florida and her credential from the Institute for Organizational Management from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Joe Holleran, a veteran real estate agent with RE/MAX Alliance Group, has received the Five Star Real Estate Agent Award for the eighth consecutive year. He also has earned 100 percent Club status from RE/MAX International. The award recognizes agents who provide quality service to their clients. Holleran and his wife and team member, Virginia Holleran, have been serving local real estate clients for more than 20 years. He is based in the RE/MAX Alliance Group Sarasota office.

Linda Singer has been recognized as a member of the Coldwell Banker International President's Circle for impressive 2013 sales performance. She has received accelerating awards of achievement levels each year ranking her among the top Coldwell Banker sales associates worldwide. Singer is a based out of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate -- Bradenton. Since 2007, Singer has been recognized as a top-performer in sales and has consistently ranked in the Top 100 Realtors of Manatee County. In 2013 and 2014 she has received the prestigious Five Star Real Estate Agent award.

Curtis Ware has joined the Siesta Key office of RE/MAX Alliance Group as a Sales Associate. He cited the company's "strong brand presence, high quality of people and internal support

structure." A Minnesota native, Ware obtained a B.A. in Marketing and Finance from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. His financial skills combine with his customer focus, diligence and thoroughness to guide buyers and sellers. Ware volunteers with Feed My Starving Children and enjoys chess, rugby, swimming, tennis, fishing, paddle boarding and golf.

Martin J. Kossoff, president of Kerkering Barberio Financial Services, Inc., has been named to Barron's list of America's Top 1,200 Financial Advisors for 2014. Ranked among other advisors named to the list within the state of Florida, Kossoff ranked 55 of 84. The magazine's largest-ever ranking of advisors, Barron's Top 1,200 represents the top 1 percent of advisors. To compile its annual list, Barron's, a leading financial publication, uses data based on the nation's most productive advisors.

Sophie Carnegie joined Moseley Investment Management and serves as the point of first contact clients. She is primarily responsible for maintaining and ensuring regulatory compliance of their social media channels; assisting with the coordination of special events throughout the year; as well as all other matters of marketing and public relations. In addition, she assists with office administration as needed. Born in the United Kingdom, she moved to Sarasota in 2000. She was awarded a Bachelor's in Social Sciences and a Master's in Business Management, both from the University of Bath in the UK.

Arif Abdulla, who has more than 20 years of experience in architecture, has joined Fawley Bryant as Project Architect. Abdulla graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Architecture in 1993. His extensive experience in Southwest Florida spans various project types including educational, commercial, hospitality, institutional, industrial, residential and master planning.

Chris Bretthauer joined Fawley Bryant as a Senior Building Information Modeling (BIM) Technician. Recruited from Colorado, having worked as Senior BIM Manager at Denver International Airport, Bretthauer brings more than 18 years of experience to the team. Bretthauer is an Autodesk Revit Certified Professional and a certified part-time instructor by the Colorado State Board of Community Colleges.

Jedd W. Heap has returned to Fawley Bryant as Project Architect after several years working in the industry locally. Heap graduated from University of Florida's College of Architecture in 1998 with a Bachelor's degree in Design. He continued his education at the University of South Florida where he earned a Masters degree in Architecture from the College of Architecture and Community Design. Heap's 15 years of experience in a variety of project types includes residential, educational, commercial, institutional, and master planning with a passion for sustainable design.

Heap has served at all levels of the AIA Gulf Coast Chapter Board of Directors and is serving as the Immediate Past President and State Director.

Norman K. Ellman was named a "Fellow" by the American Board of Psychoanalysis. Ellman, who has previously been named a Diplomate by APA, is a member of the Academy. Ellman works with adults, adolescents and children at his Bradenton practice.
