Police investigate 'suspicious vehicle' at Bradenton elementary school

BRADENTON -- Police were investigating a report of a suspicious vehicle at Seabreeze Elementary School on Friday morning.

A complainant reported to the Bradenton Police Department's front desk that the vehicle was backed into the area by the school, 3601 71st St. W., around 7:20 a.m. both Thursday and Friday, according to a police report.

The complainant described the vehicle as a dark, 1980s Toyota vehicle with a male occupant, according to the report.

Police conducted a close patrol and notified the detective division and officers to conduct another patrol Monday when school resumes, the report states.
