Royal Tea Service: Simply Gourmet features a traditional Royal English tea service at 2 p.m. March 11 at the Powel Crosley Estate, 8374 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota. Tea will be served in the exclusive upstairs living area of the mansion overlooking the bay. Tickets are $32. A portion of the proceeds benefits the Crosley Foundation. St. Patrick's Day: Celebrate St. Patrick's Day (March 17) at Mattison's City Grille in Sarasota. The restaurant will feature traditional Irish fare, including potato leek soup, Reuben sandwiches, corned beef and cabbage, shepherd's pie and more. Great Irish beer and drink specials include Guinness, green beer on demand, Irish Whiskey, and Irish Cider. Happy hour is from 3 to 7 p.m. The current menu is also available. Harry's March Prix Fixe: Harry's Continental Kitchen, 525 St. Jude's Drive, Longboat Key, is offering a March prix fixe for $39.99 per person/$53.99 with wine pairings. First course: vichyssoise or gazpacho. Second course: baked Apalachicola oysters in chorizo sausage-chipotle pepper cream sauce or seared tuna tataki with sesame-edamame soba noodle salad or warm chevre salad with toasted almond crusted goat cheese, strawberry's, sun-dried tomato, bibb lettuce, balsamic vinaigrette. Third course: seared red grouper with red curry-cilantro-cashew-coconut milk sauce, coconut jasmine rice, fresh vegetables or three of the sea manicotti with lobster, shrimp, crab, ricotta, spinach, garlic, fresh pasta topped with lobster-sherry-tomato-cream sauce or barbeque-style braised pork belly with mixed berries barbecue sauce, bacon-cheddar-PBR risotto, roast bacon brussels sprout hash. Michael's on East Epicurean Adventure: Throughout March, Michael's On East restaurant, 1212 East Ave. S., Sarasota, invites guests to take an "Baltimore Epicurean Adventure" in celebration of the Baltimore Orioles' fifth spring training season through March 31. The three-course dinner menu is featured for $34.95 per person as well as a two-course lunch menu for $18.95 per person. The carefully selected red and white wine pairing will be available for $10 per pairing during dinner and $5 per pairing during lunch. Libby's offering Saturday brunch: Libby's is now offering Saturday Brunch every week, including its award-winning 60-plus ingredient Bloody Mary and mimosa bar ($9 first visit with $4 refills.) Guests will also be entertained by DJ Russ Deep, who will be spinning funk, Motown, pop and soul music to complement Libby's contemporary twists on the classic brunch fare. Brunch menu highlights include the Libbypalooza, "everything breakfast on a plate," blueberry pancakes, baked eggs, lamb shank hash, Chicken N' Waffle slider plate and much more.
