March 11, 2014

BRADENTON — The Jim Russo Ministry and Development Center will celebrate the ground-breaking of the new Development Center/Residential Home for ex-offenders at 10 a.m. Wednesday at 2106 26th Ave. E.

The energy star-qualified home features five bedrooms, three baths and will house 16 men.

Construction of the new home and demolition of the old home is a result of collaborative efforts between Manatee County government, Manatee County Neighborhood Services Department, with funding provided by Federal Community Block Grant and the Office of Housing and Urban Development.
