Recap: Chicago Cubs vs. Colorado

Mesa, AZ ( - Kent Matthes belted a three-run homer and the Colorado Rockies banged out 16 hits Tuesday in a 13-0 win over the Chicago Cubs in spring training.

Kyle Parker, Nolan Arenado and Ryan Wheeler each had a two-run homer and Jorge De La Rosa gave up two hits in a three-inning start.

Five Rockies pitchers combined on the five-hit shutout.

Cubs starter Travis Wood gave up five runs on nine hits and a walk in 2 2/3 innings.
