Bradenton man found OK, returns to assisted living facility

MANATEE -- A Bradenton man who went missing Sunday from an assisted living center has been found OK and returned to the facility, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

David August Smith, 60, was last seen about 5 p.m. Sunday by staff at Paradise Rest Assisted Living Facility, 1207 30th Ave. E., according to an earlier news release from the sheriff's office.

The sheriff's office said Smith requires medication he did not have in his possession while he was missing.
