— FlipKey, a blog run by travel website Trip Advisor, has named Bradenton one of the top five Major League Baseball spring training sites that offer “way more than baseball.”

Robinson Nature Preserve, Treeumph! Adventure Course and the South Florida Museum are among the Bradenton-area attractions mentioned in a blog posted Wednesday.

Other local attractions highlighted include Astro Skate and Fun Center, Rosa Fiorelli Winery & Vineyard, Bradentown Scoop and Arts & Eats Restaurant and Gallery.

Joining the Friendly City on the list were spring training cities Sarasota (Baltimore Orioles); Clearwater (Philadelphia Phillies); Mesa, Ariz. (Chicago Cubs); and Tempe, Ariz. (Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim).
