— ST. PETERSBURG -- Traffic on the Skyway Bridge was backed up Friday morning after three vehicles incurred moderate to heavy damage in a crash in the southbound lanes.

The crash was reported just after 9 a.m., and involved an overturned vehicle in the southbound lanes of Interstate 275 near the St. Petersburg side of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge, according to Lt. Steven Lawrence, deputy fire marshal for the City of St. Petersburg.

A Brinks truck was involved in the crash. Two two people were treated at the scene, according to Lawrence. Traffic lanes reopened at 11 a.m., the Florida Highway Patrol website said.

No names of those involved were available immediately, Lawrence said.
